With a background in festival catering with Van Rouge below and wedding catering in the South West - Burnicombe Farm Catering can set up, prep, cook and serve from virtually anywhere from a remote field to a commercial kitchen. We offer good wholeshome farm house cooking inspired by our global travels over the years. We share, in our menues, our passion for Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking in particular, as well as the best of food from the UK and Ireland. Most of the food we use is produced locally or on our farm and anything else is ethically produced or traded fairly from further afield.

Food for all seasons
In summer hog and lamb roasts are always popular at weddings accompanied by lots of crisp, fresh and colourful salads. Another popular favourite isValencian Paella made in enormous pans - everyone can see the delicious food bubbling and enjoy the tantalising aromas as the food cooks. Continental style buffet lunches are also popular with fresh cold beef, lamb and poultry. Local sea food such as Teign smoked salmon and Brixham crab are ideal for wedding feasts.
In winter we love serving all manner of hearty soups, stews, pies, tagines and curries. Local venison is always popular in winter.
Hungry campers love our morning after English and Continental breakfasts with our own home cured bacon, hand made sausages, fluffy herb omlettes and freshly baked and filled croissants.
Easy-to-eat canapes and finger buffets for corporate events. Puds, cakes, bakes, flapjacks, fruity muffins, crunchy cookies and fresh fruit cordials are always a favourite at summer childrens events.
Lasagnes, mousakas, gormet burgers and spicey meat balls with chilli and tomato sauce with piles of salads and trays of gooy chocolate brownies are always a hit. Our Middle Eastern falafels and tahini bulgar wheat burgers are a big hit with vegetarians at any time of the year.
We hire tables, seating and table ware for all events - formal or informal.
Commitment to the environment
If we are not able to or it is not practical to use china, all plates, cups and cuttlery we use is completely bio-degradable and compostable. Our food is mainly grown and produced on our farm or in the South West and thus travels minimal food miles.
